The most prescious thing in my life would be my soccer ball. I have to touch and play with a soccer ball all the time. I play soccer 24/7 and can’t go without. I have touched and played soccer everyday of my life. I have been playing soccer for way more than half of my life. My soccer ball is my most precious thing. But, it’s not just a thing, it is my life.

1. What is the best thing about living where you do?
     The best thing about living where I do is that I know my way around. I am used to the things that surround me. The area where I live is a safe place and I would feel safe just walking around my block by myself. My town and where I live has alot of businesses, which means that I have alot of different places to eat from and alot of different varietites of places to go and to chose from. I also have alot of friends that I know from school and that are my friends that live nearby, so I can do things with them.

2. Tell us why your school is unique?
     Our school is different from many other schools. We learn in ways that are fun and not boring. In Social Studies espiecally, we get to interact with other kids from around the world. We get a chance to learn about other kids
that we never imagined we would talk to and communicate with. In Language Arts we get to learn while being in groups and we get to learn how to work together and make new friends. And interact with kids that we don’t usually talk with.

My task is to descirbe the race between Hilary Clinton against Berack Obama. I am supposed to do this in JUST THREE (3) WORDS!!! I decided to pick three words that really described how each candidate feels about each other. The three words I am going to pick are

1) DEFEAT 2) DESTROY 3) WIN

          I am going to be very open about this subject. I am kind of scared about going to High School next year, I don’t know why because I shouldn’t be, but I am! Some of my fears are the older kids; they think their tough and cool because there older and were the new kids. I actually not afraid of the older kids because they don’t scare be I am just nervous because Sheehan is a big school and I hope I don’t get lost on the first day. My hopes and dreams for High School is to make, the Sheehan Girls Varsity Soccer Team when I’m in 9th grade(which is next year!!!) and every year after that!!! I think that High School is going to be be a very big change for me because, there are a lot more kids there and it’s going to be my first year there and I don’t really know the teachers yet. And also, everything I did when I was in Elementary and Middle School will be forgotten and it’s like I’m going to be starting a new chapter in my life when I go to High School. I think this is good because, I learned from my mistakes, if I made any while in Elementary or Middle School and I won’t make those same mistakes when I go to High School.

I can’t wait for High School!!!!!

     Everybody, well everybody should know why we have no school on Monday Janurary 21st. If you don’t, well the reason why we have to no school on Monday is because, it is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day toh remember and honor one of our heros, Martin Luther King Jr. The reason why schools across the country are closed is because, Martin Luther King joined together our black and white americans and joined them together as one community. If it weren’t for him, then black and white people who still be seperated today and there would be alot more violence in the word, but thanks to him our country is joined together with people of all diffefent kinds of races. Our country will suffer less violence today because of his actions a long time ago.

 Martin Luther King Jr. once said,

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

    The post that I viewed was “The Essay!” What the main point of this movie was, was that this little girl was describing a cell phone that will be invented in the future. But her parents thought that she was sick/crazy and so they brought you to a therapist and that didn’t work either.

Three Points:

 1. She was describing a phone that would be invented in the future.

2. Her Classmates started to laugh at her when she was describing the phone.

3. Her parents though that she was sick/crazy.

Description of each of my topics: 

1. She was describing a phone that would be invented in the future.

2.  Her classmates started laughing at her because she said that in the future we would be able to fit a  phone in our pockets because it would be so small and you would be able to take it everywhere.

2.  a. (-She said that we would be able to see whom were speaking to on the small screen and watch the news and weather on the phone, too!- Her classmates started to laugh at her again!)

 3. Here parents took her to a therapist and the little girl told the therapist what she wrote in her journal and then her mom started to cry. The therapist looked dumb founded!

My last thought about this video was, that she was trying to tell people what kind of technology there will be in the future. And also how you will be able to see whom your talking to on the small screen and you’ll be able to watch real footbal matches and videos on the phone.

The message in this video and what this video meant to me was that, people arn’t going to need computers or television anymore, because this new phone will have everything in it from e-mail, to television, and the internet. Also that everyday we are going to expierence new oppurtunities.

My two brothers have influenced me greatly in my life. I am serious; since they are older than me they are my role models! They have an impact on my life because, they taught me to me strong and to never give up. All three of us play football and soccer together and they have taught me to be strong! They mean a lot of me because, they have worked hard all of their lives. One of my brothers t already finished High School and is now in College and I want to do the same thing and go to College like him! My other brother is still in High School though. My brothers have always had an impact on my life and I look up to them and I would love to follow in their foot steps when I get to be older and when I  am their age!!! My brother is playing soccer in High School and I would like to follow in his foot steps and also play soccer for my High School and get a scholarship to College!!!

The following is a question but a statement at the same time! The question/statement is; I wonder…. I have to come up with something that completes the following phrase; I wonder… The one I picked was the internet!!!

As I am sure alot of you know…

I wonder…. what would the world be like today without the use of the internet. The reason I say that is because, without the internet you wouldn’t be seeing this now unless I was talking to you in person. Without the internet kids wouldn’t be able to text on their phone, download ringtones, or listen to any music unless, it was on the radio. Business peolpe wouldn’t be able to go on the internet to find out information about a house; because they waited until the last minute to look up some info. on the house for some couple who is looking to buy it right away!  We wouldn’t be able to do alot of things. People wouldn’t be able to advertise ads because they upload all of their pictures from the internet. The only way to get a picture is if someone had free time now-a-days to draw a huge picture which takes weeks to draw for half the world to see! Anyway my point is, without the internet we wouldn’t be able to do half the things, well over 75 percent on things we do today!!! I wonder… without the internet would there be less graphics; less pictures to go with words? How would it affect our social studies class? Would it affect the minds of some people; most people live with the internet; it’s like saying eat, sleep, internet, but only the eating and sleeping are optional! How would business people or people who are trying to sell a product get the point across without charts and pictures they upload from the internet or info. they get off the internet? Now-a-day’s over 81 percent of the people have computers with internet on it; see that info. I just got from the internet!I wonder… what the world would be like, about 20 years from now? What new creation would they come up with next, they have the internet on computers, laptops, cellphones, what’s next? Are they going to have internet available on a dog collar, so that way when you walk your dog you can still use the internet? I wonder…
